From “My Frank Family” to “The Freehearted:” here’s why!

Hi! And welcome to my freshly launched website. If you’ve been following my blog for awhile now, then you’ve seen it change before: it started as “Becoming Frank” when I was a newly-engaged 23-year-old and then a few years later it changed to “My Frank Family,” as a family-oriented blog when I found out I was pregnant. And now, it is “The Freehearted” and it will be The Freehearted for the remainder of my blogging ventures.

This site will not only be a blog, but a portfolio for my writing as well. On my portfolio page, you will see featured blog posts that I have written as well as a summary of the writing experiences I have gained throughout my graduate and undergraduate studies as well as my professional opportunities. Writing is a big part of who I am, and I’m more than happy to help you with anything writing related if ever needed. I am available for freelance writing, blog posting, proofreading, and more. I’d love to help you and your venture.

So why “freehearted?” Well, to be freehearted means to be frank, open, spontaneous but also generous. And those are my exact intentions with this site. I want to be honest and open with my readers while remaining kind and compassionate. I want to stay true to who I am as I openly share my thoughts and life. The Freehearted is the place where I can come to share my opinions, recipes, mothering stories, parenting tips, and my professional successes as well.

If you are new to my site: welcome! And if you’ve been reading along for a while: thank you, thank you, thank you. (I really can’t say it enough.) But no matter if you’re a new or avid reader of my blogs, I invite you to remain freehearted with me. Always tell your truth and keep sharing yourself… Because it matters.

Take a look around and let me know what you think! I can’t wait to share more with you all!
